Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president continues his visit to the University of Surrey in Britain and meets with prof.Dr. Rafi Silva, the head of the advanced technology center as they agrees to train some of Benha university students in the field of nana-technology. El-Kady also meets with prof.Dr. Ali Mobashri who wants to travel to Egypt at end of May to deliver three workshops in Benha University and he meets with prof.Dr. Shince Doly, the director of the faculty of post-graduate studies and this meeting results in offering five PhD scholarships in Surrey University. 

Benha university council approves to appoint prof.Dr. Mustafa EL-Sayed and prof.Dr. Ali Nasr as emeritus professors in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra in appreciation of their scientific excellence abroad. 

Benha university council discusses, on Tuesday, 28-3-2017 under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, the latest updates of the hospital that will be established in the property of Benha University. This hospital includes emergency department, radiology department, the external clinics and the offices of the faculties' members. 

Benha University participates, under the auspices of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the head of the student activities in the university, in the forum of inventions at EL-Mansoura from 25-3-2017 to 29-3-2017 with the participation of 17 Egyptian universities. Mrs. Intisar mongy, the head of the scientific and technological at the general administration of the youth care department in Benha University says that there are 8 researches which are accepted in the forum. 

Benha University organizes a number of Comprehensive convoys which will be sent to four villages in El-Qulubia in cooperation with El-Qulubia governorate, cities councils, women's national council and the armed forces starting from 9-4-2017 under the auspices of general / Mahmoud Ashmawy, El-Qulubia governor, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of the community service and environment development. 

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president inaugurates the first scientific forum of green chemistry which is organized by the faculty of science and it is attended by several scientists in the field of chemistry from many Egyptian universities, such as Cairo University, Ein-shams University, El-Monifya University, Helwan University and the national center of researches. After his word, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president honors five scientists in the field of chemistry by giving them the armor of Benha University as follows: prof.Dr. Muhammad Youssef EL-Kady, prof.Dr. Saad Hasan, prof.Dr. Mahasen Saad Amin, prof.Dr. Galal EL-Gemiey and prof.Dr. Farouk Fahmy. The forum is attended by prof.Dr. Abd EL-Azim Mehna, the faculty's dean and prof.Dr. Alaa Amin, the head of chemistry department and the rapporteur of the forum. 

The council of Benha University, under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves to apply the same bylaw of the faculty of education in Benha University to the faculty of education of girls in Shibin EL-kantar that will be set up in Shibin EL-kantar and the council also approves that the faculty's members of the faculty of education in Benha University can teach in new faculty.
