In unprecedented step in the history of the Egyptian Universities, the Bonuses law of the sciences and innovation technology has been issued by the parliament to improve the scientific research in Egypt.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president inaugurates the first educational forum of the armed forces in the Egyptian universities. The inauguration is attended by major general/ Khalid Tawfik, the leader of defensive troops, major general/ El-Sayed Ghaly, the head of the war veterans association, the university’s vice presidents, the faculties’ deans, the faculties’ deputies, the faculties’ members , the employees and the stduents. 

Benha University achieves a great accomplishment around the Egyptian universities as The IT portal gets 100% as an assessment from the supreme council of the universities in third quarter (January-February-March 2017). Prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa thanks Prof Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, the vice presidents, the university leaders of those who participate in such outstanding achievement in addition to thanking the IT portal team and its manager prof.Dr. Shady EL-Mashad and prof.Dr. Islam EL-Sharaway for his efforts in supporting the activities of IT portal. 

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president invites the president/ Abd EL-Fattah El-Sisi, to sponsor the week of the youth talk which will be held in the university from 25-2-2017 to 28-2-2017. The event will be held in the presence of the presidents and professors of the Egyptian universities and more than 1000 students who are representing 24 universities. The youth will be held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of the higher education and scientific research. The university president announces that prof.Dr. Gamal Shiha, the head of the education board and the education board representatives were invited in addition to inviting the education boards of the presidency, the parties and the civil society representatives and education experts to participate the activities of the youth talk about the educational process and scientific research. 

The students of Benha University manage to win three medals in the week of the student's families of the Egyptian universities that is held in the Sue canal university from 6-2-2017 to 10-2-2017. The student/ Ahmed Abd el-Azim from the faculty of applied arts obtains the gold medal in the religious recital contest, the student /Zeniab from the faculty of medicine obtains the silver medal in the Holy Quran contest, the football team obtains the second place by winning the silver medal and the university obtains the fourth place in the information league and the solo singing. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president attends the inauguration ceremony in the covered hall of the Suez Canal authority in the presence of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of the higher education and scientific research, general/ Yassin Taher, the governor of Ismailia. Some students of Benha University visit Ismailia tunnel, which is considered one of the big projects, and they listen to the explanation of colonel/ Kamel El-Wazier, the head of the geometrical authority and the lieutenant general/ Mohab mamiesh, the head of Suez Canal authority.

The students of the Egyptian universities, who participate in the first education forum from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017, recommend holding an annual education forum in Benha University to put the recommendations of the forum into practice, face the defects and the solve them. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president asserts that Benha University approves on the students of Egyptian universities to hold an annual education forum in Benha University, but the university president will refer to the minister of higher education for approval.
