The training day included comprehensive practical simulations inside both branches, where students and bank employees exchanged roles between “customer” and “bank officer.” This dynamic exercise helped reinforce banking concepts, deepen practical understanding of daily banking procedures, and prepare students for real-world experiences in the banking sector, following a full training week of lectures delivered by Banque Misr officials.
Nearly 350 students participated in the second cohort, organized into well-structured groups within each branch. Banque Misr employees directly supervised the sessions, providing in-depth explanations of the bank’s structure, its departments, and customer service mechanisms.
The Faculty of Commerce – Benha University extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Banque Misr management at both Benha and Obour branches for their excellent organization and fruitful cooperation.
Special recognition also goes to the efforts of the Center for Business Studies and Research team, led by Dr. Sherif El-Gohary (General Supervisor of the Center), along with Ms. Iman Ahmed, Mr. Ahmed Saeed, and Ms. Heba Ahmed, for their professionalism in coordinating schedules and groups to ensure smooth and efficient training. A special thanks is also extended to Dr. Mohab Suleiman, Coordinator of the Training Week for the second cohort.
The participating students expressed their great satisfaction with this unique experience, which provided them with the opportunity to directly engage with the real banking environment, benefit from the expertise of Banque Misr employees, and build confidence in customer interaction.
The Faculty affirms its continuous commitment to providing practical training opportunities aligned with labor market developments, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates in financial and banking institutions both locally and regionally, in line with its vision to prepare highly qualified professional cadres.
