Faculty of Commerce Celebrates the Completion of the Student Training Program in Collaboration with Banque Misr – Benha University
With full attendance from students, the Faculty of Commerce at Benha University celebrated the successful completion of the Banque Misr Student Training Program, organized by the Center for Commercial Studies and Research at the faculty. This was held under the generous patronage of:
- His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy – President of Benha University
- Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Jehan Abdel Hady Moussa – Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs
Supervised by Prof. Dr. Magdy Meligy Abdel Hakim – Acting Dean of the Faculty, and under the guidance and follow-up of Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
The program included three main components:
1️⃣ A theoretical training week during which experts from Banque Misr delivered specialized lectures on banking accounting and financial inclusion.

2️⃣ Field visits to two Banque Misr branches (Benha and Mostafa Kamel in Cairo), where students engaged in practical experiences and real-life simulations of the banking work environment, learning about the bank’s departments and customer service procedures.

3️⃣ A closing day that gathered a distinguished group of trainers in accounting, banking, entrepreneurship, and professional certifications.

Prof. Dr. Magdy Meligy, Dean of the Faculty, announced the provision of a grant by the faculty for a visit to the Egyptian Stock Exchange for 50 students.
The program concluded with Dr. Sherif El-Gohary, supervisor of the Center for Commercial Studies and Research, announcing the upcoming training courses schedule.
